Paul Rivlin is an economist and senior research fellow at the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle East and African Studies at Tel Aviv University. He studied at Cambridge, London and Harvard Universities and is the author of four books: The Dynamics of Economic Policy Making in Egypt; The Israeli Economy; Economic Policy and Performance in the Arab World, and Arab Economies in the Twenty First Century as well as monographs, papers, reports and contributions to books on economic development in the Middle East, international energy markets, defense and trade economics. He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses on Middle East economics at Tel Aviv, London and Ben Gurion Universities and has been a visiting professor at Emory University.
