New Play "Crossroads" by Bahram Beyzaie Sells Out Seven Performances

Professor, playwright, author, and filmmaker Bahram Beyzaie wrote and directed his newest play "Crossroads" at Stanford University in March of this year. The play, sponsored by the Hamid and Christina Moghadam Program in Iranian Studies and part of the Stanford Festival of Iranian Arts, sold out all seven performances at the new Roble theater. The play takes place in approximately year eighty of the Persian calendar. In a busy crossroads of Tehran, a woman and a man run into one another, torn apart by the events of the last fifteen years.
