Response to COVID-19

Events postponed or canceled as Stanford responds to coronavirus outbreak

In response to the rapidly evolving events surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19), Stanford University has postponed all events that involve more than 35 participants.  Additionally, many campus units have postponed, canceled, or offered to livestream smaller events to inhibit the spread of the virus.

At this time, the Iranian Studies Program has canceled all upcoming events scheduled for spring quarter.  As the situation is rapidly evolving, please check back here, sign up for our email list, or follow us on Facebook for updates. In accordance with Stanford’s effort to promote social distancing and increase the number of staff who are working remotely to the greatest extent possible, the Iranian Studies Program staff are temporarily working from home. We are available by phone and email during normal business hours. For general questions or concerns, please email iranianstudies [at] stanford.edu (iranianstudies[at]stanford[dot]edu). To our students: staff and faculty are still available to you through email, phone, and video calls. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us, we look forward to hearing from you.
