Sasha Ronaghi (2024)
Sasha Ronaghi is an undergraduate and coterm student from Irvine, CA. She studies computer science, specializing in systems and computer and network security. As the daughter of Iranian immigrants, she is pursuing the minor in an effort to better understand her heritage and family history. She enjoys how the minor courses complement her computer science studies and hopes to explore the intersection between both fields. Her favorite courses include Persian language with Professor Emami, US-Iran Relations with Professor Milani, and Iranian Cinema in Diaspora with Professor Beyzaie. She is extremely grateful to be part of Stanford’s Iranian studies community and for the work they do in strengthening the Iranian community and sharing Iranian culture with the Stanford community.
