2023-2024 Annual Report

Explore highlights from the 2023-2024 academic year. This year featured a diverse range of in-person courses, gatherings, and events at Stanford, bringing together distinguished scholars, social justice activists, influential artists, and a groundbreaking NASA astronaut who spoke to students live from space. The Iranian Studies Program hosted 29 in-person and virtual events, drawing over 2,560 people. Additionally, more than 500 people attended co-sponsored events with the Persian Student Association, the Sohaib and Sara Abbasi Program in Islamic Studies, and the Foundation for Iranian Studies.
